Amble Pier Lighthouse, Northumbrian Coast.
This small light is one of two at the mouth of the
River Coquet at Amble in Northumberland.
Built in the early 20th century it's flashing red
light provides a navigational aid for fishing boats and pleasure
craft entering Amble Harbour.
The two photos below show the Light and pier in calm
conditions although that is now always the case as the third early
evening photo, with the light flashing, shows.
