Berwick Lighthouse, Northumbrian Coast.
This lighthouse is located at the end of the pier
at the historical town of Berwick upon Tweed, from where there are
tremendous views down the Northumberland Coast.
Built in the 19th century the light guides shipping
to the entrance to the River Tweed and Berwick Harbour.
The first photo below shows the pier and lighthouse
seen from the town walls at Berwick, while the second two photos
are of the end of the pier and lighthouse itself.
The fourth photo shows a ship being escorted from
the River Tweed by the Pilot Boat alongside the pier and lighthouse.
